Jen gets a Proper Job!

Jen Watham joined Hope in the Valley in 2012. She was at the time doing some research for her PhD in Animal Psychology and used some of our ponies for her research.  Whilst she was with us she qualified as a Group Instructor and went on to make a valuable contribution to the group.

We were of course disappointed when her life took her out of the area and she has been missed. Just recently however we have been delighted to hear that she has  been appointed as a Project Coordinator at RDA National. The project she is working on is a joint initiative between British Blind Sport and  RDA National. Its aim is to enhance the participation of Blind People in Equestrian Sport. Jen takes up her post in early May and we wish her luck both with her new job and forthcoming nuptials. It just goes to show that volunteering leads to real opportunities.
